Favourite book characters?

Out of all the books you have read, what character has stood out to you the most and is therefore your favourite? What do you like about them?
For me, and I am sure others relate, I have many favourites, off the top of my head:
Percy - Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Kaz - Six of Crows
Leo - Heroes of Olympus
Elizabeth - Pride and Prejudice
Citra - Scythe
I have ALOT of favourites so this might be a bit tricky...
but some of them are:
Addy- One of Us is Lying (the book)
Tyler- Hide and Secrets
Lauren - Sister, missing
Jack- Room (also recommend the movie too!!)
Starr- The Hate U Give
I can't really say what I like about them because it would give some spoilers..
recommend all especially if you're interested in thrillers!

While not strictly speaking from a "book" in the modern sense of a physical book, Karṇa from the Mahābhārata is a pretty fascinating character. We only read a handful of passages relating to him when I was studying Sanskrit, but he's a sort of uniquely tragic-hero character in a literary tradition where that character archetype was (I gather) not very common.

That's super impressive wow! Studying Sanskrit sounds so interesting 🙂
Ebeneezer Scrooge - A Christmas Carol
Long John Silver - Treasure Island

Unmistakable fictional characters who give the plot a picture and keep in my mind forever.
