Hi i have a midwifery interview. Its group activities can anyone advise me what to expect please
Hi
Group interview is basically yourself and say another 10 people at once, you'll get a opportunity to do your individual interview with the interview panel, then you'll be probably doing 5/6 mmi's - mini interview stations which you do something that is on the table - you talk about whatever it is for about 5 minutes say ( there's around 5 to 6 stations you'll do) then you'll all have a group session together with questions being asked in which you'll have to be quick to get your self over as everyone else will shout over each other at this part.
Here's a example of what the mmi's could be like but not necessarily as you won't know what you are getting until you arrive at your interview.
MMIs will vary by university, but some common MMI stations that you could face include: Role-play stations. Professional judgement stations. Prioritisation stations. Giving instruction stations. Calculation and data interpretation stations. PBL stations.
Good luck with your midwifery interview as it's going to be hard going for everyone who attends it as the university will only have a limited amount of places available for the 2025/26 academic year so places will be at a premium.
