How to prove to UC I’m not eligible to maintenance loan

Hello everyone. I’m going through a rough time right now as I’m a single mom studying at the university for a parti time online course . I got approved for tuition fee loan, however UC is asking me proof that i have requested maintenance loan and this one was rejected. I explained to them i have not applied for maintenance loan as I’m not eligible. They seem to not understand. I don’t know how to prove that for a part time online course, the maintenance loan is not possible if you don’t have any disability. Can someone help me please how to prove to them this?

Hi there, all of our guidance for support for part time distance learning courses can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance/parttime-students
Our online guidance clearly states that if you’re a distance learning student, you can only apply for a Maintenance Loan if you cannot attend your course in person because of a disability. Thanks. Stephen.
