What’s nightlife/social life like at City University of London

Hey I’ve been given a conditional offer to study journalism at City, but I’m not sure if I should put it as my firm because it’s important to me that I go to a University with a large social scene/night life, and I’m worried because of what I’ve seen people say about City’s reputation, however I really want move to London. Can anyone who goes to City tell me what it’s like socially?

Hi,
I’m Thaís, a journalism MA student at City. Don’t worry about social scene. Especially in journalism courses, the basis of your work will be interaction with your colleagues in fieldwork and on-site reporting. In addition, the department often organizes interesting events with outside guests, followed by a reception  It’s always a good opportunity to talk, eat, drink and connect.
Journalism students tend to be very sociable and organize activities outside the classroom and study environment as well. In addition, you can join one of the societies or a sports group, which also offer a good opportunity to connect with people from different backgrounds. I hope this has been helpful and feel free to contact me if you would like anything else.
