Uplearn reviews

I’m wanting to use uplearn for my a levels (biology and psychology) has anyone actually used it for these subjects, if you have how did you find it?

if you didn’t get an a or a* using these did you actually get your money back?

i’m aware that i need to put in the extra effort to get the higher grades (past papers)

does it use spaced repetition and active recall?

i use uplearn for psych aqa alevel. i found it relatively useful at first but the videos go through content slowly so it takes ages to watch all of them. it is also very expensive and i think you would be better off using free revision materials e.g. psychboost. i recently ordered the psych boost workbook and it is so much more effective than uplearn and was a fraction of the price. additionally uplearn doesnt include all the optional topics for paper 3 which is quite annoying considering i spent over £200. it does use spaced repetition and active recall however.

I have it and to be honest it goes through content really slow, it can take a lot of time to get through. I didn't find it as useful compared to different resources but the way I got uplearn was being apart of the Sutton trust online programme. I would definitely recommend applying and getting it that way if applications are still open!

I have it because my school pays for everyone's licence, and like others are saying it goes through content REAALLLY slow, which is necessary because they promise an A*/A if you complete 90% of the course and by making 90% of the course take a really long time (to the point where its not possible to not get an A*/A if you finish it) the claim is less likely to be disproven.

It's like the least efficient way of getting an A*/A, but will get you an A*/A.
