Exception Degree

Good morning, would the 3 year FT course Primary and Early Years Education with QTS BA(Hons) at Uni of Huddersfield be eligible as an exception degree for someone who previously studied but did not graduate?
Hi there, where did you study previously? How long were you in studies for and did you receive any qualification from the original studies? Thanks, Stephen.

Hello. I previously studied of Uni of York, I was in study for 3yrs and did not receive the qualification.
Hi Laureylizabeth,

The course you mentioned is not an exception so we would have to take your previous study into account. What this means for you is you would need to self fund the first 2 years of your new course unless you have Compelling Personal Reasons evidence.

Thanks,
Calum
Hi again. Are you able to confirm what would class as evidence for Compelling Personal Reasons?
Hi there. We can accept photocopies of the following:

Medical evidence from a GP on headed paper.

A letter from your university on headed paper.

A letter from Social Services, clergy or professional person on headed paper.

A copy of a death certificate and/or a birth certificate.

This list is not exhaustive and any evidence that may help your claim for compelling personal reasons (CPR) should be sent to us for consideration. Where applicable, we recommend the evidence is signed and dated and confirms the reason why you could not continue with your studies and when this took place (must be date specific). Thanks, Stephen
