am i cooked

ive pretty much not done anything for the first part of year 12 as i have no clue how to revise + the thought of it is quite daunting as when i sit down to revise i get so overwhelmed and it feels impossible to actually get all of it done so i avoid it but i need to change my ways 😞🙏🏽 my subjects are media, criminology, sociology & gcse maths resit (i am NOT einstein ok bro 😔) media & criminology im not too worried about i got a C in my crim mock even tho i did so shite but idk ab my media mock as i dont think i cooked in it but im not too worried tbf if i revise im calm, its js sociology & maths im most worried ab 🙁🙁🙁 sociology i got a whopping 7% in my mock and i have to do flipping online classes for maths gcse once a week 😐 and its edexcel at my college for maths which is more daunting as ive done aqa maths in secondary!! anyways any advice or encouragement would be well appreciated, i just want a B in media and criminology and literally a C in sociology 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 and a 4 in maths oh god i dont wanna resit a third time 😭😭😭😭

It is still quite early in your A-Level experience, so you have got time to start revising and get your grades to were you want them to be.

I would recommend making a revision timetable so that you can plan when you will revise each subject. If you are struggling with deciding what to revise, you could include this in your timetable as well. Hopefully this will help you to feel less overwhelmed.

In terms of how to revise, I would recommend trying out lots of different strategies to find what works for you. I found that answering exam questions, making mindmaps and watching videos were effective methods in my revision.

It might be worth also talking to your teachers as they should be able to support you and guide you with what you need to revise and what methods you could use.

Sorry i thought i had responded but thank u so much for ur advice and reassurance!!! i appreciate it & yeah i think im gonna try and do mindmaps and stuff and im trying to follow a revision schedule so hopefully thatll help!! thank u again!
