Hey, haven't seen a thread made yet for the HSBC 2025 summer internship, what stages is everyone at? Has anyone made it to the Assessment Centre / Virtual Experience day yet?

Yes I got an email for the 22nd Birmingham wealth and personal banking. Any idea what to expect?

I’ve applied for the finance role so it might not be the exact same but if you look online there’s some resources and articles about what structure it might be

Me either, have you been actually invited or did you get an email asking if you were available for the assessment centre if you were approved?

Yes the email says that I have been selected for the VED.

oh is yours virtual? i got told there’s one in person at the birmingham office on the 22nd but i haven’t been officially invited yet

Yes mine is virtual, I thought all were virtual no?

It’s definitely in-person for the one they emailed me about, it might depend on who is organising the assessment centres for each internship as they are different sectors of the business since i am applying for finance instead of banking.

I did my VED, I think the questions went okay and they said it will take 2-3 weeks for a report that gives us feedback and up to 5-6 weeks for an outcome response.

Yes I have I got an offer the next day, mine was in person though.

I haven't heard back but I got feedback but tbf they did say that it could take 5-6 weeks to hear back with an offer or rejection. Did they tell you in person that you would hear back next day?
