Optometry Cardiff 2025

So glad to hear your top choice is Cardiff - I love it here!
I'm sorry to hear you are so stressed. If you do get below the required grades, it will largely depend on how many other applicants there are and if the course fills up.
I am not the admissions team so cannot say anything 100%. And i'm sure you've seen the 5 year programme (including a foundation year) that Cardiff also offer. Also you can consider clearing in Summer.
Try to keep your head up though, predicted grades are definite.

Thank you sm. The 5 year programme says it only allows students that do a maximum of one science subject and unfortunately I do two of them so l'm unable to apply for that programme. l've also heard that since places get filled up for optometry, there's not many clearing spaces and sometimes optometry isn't always put on as a course for clearing 🥲🥲

Aw ok that's a little frustrating.
