GCSE Maths

Hi, basically im about to do my gcse exams in a few months and ive nearly finished all content in my subjects. Mainly, ive finished all content for maths. Im doing higher maths and im pretty decent at it. However, although i know how to do evreything, when it comes to the actual exams (e.g. my mocks) i cant seem to link my knowledge to the questions. I know i can do past papers to get in the zone but i will soon run out and ive finished all of mathsgenie and such websites. Someone please help me bc idk if i should move onto the questions in the book if there is smth else i can do which is better. Thanks :smile:

Sounds like you're doing really well, don't freak yourself out too much, you seem very prepared. I could only recommend focusing on questions you find hardest, and I think you'll do great, it might just be regular exam anxiety, If you're performing well on the practise papers, and don't spot any gaps of knowledge, redoing the same questions isn't problematic.

You cant possibly run out of maths past papers there is so many, when i did my gcse i did so many there is like 3 papers each year. Go on this website (https://revisionmaths.com/gcse-maths/gcse-maths-past-papers/aqa-gcse-maths-past-papers) there is so many past papers stretching till 2017 and specimen papers which are just as good. If you know what your weak at or you want to revise something literally just go onto this website it is so good (https://corbettmaths.com/contents/) this whole page i have done the link to has everything you will possibly need to know in maths so you can literally use the keyboard function control + F and type in anything you want and it will show you that topic on this page and you can watch a video that topic if you want and then do practice question which are right there with the answers also there !

thanksss but the thing is is that i’ve been through nearly every past paper since i revised them for year ten mocks as well 😭 so i only have like maybe two years to go over that are left. i’ll definitely start doing the corbettmaths x

yes thats ok but maybe should have gone ham in year 10😅!

literally i didnt even revise that hard for year 10 mocks and i got a 69/80 and 69/80 on the paper in that mocks which was very close to a 9, i used to be a consistent high scorer in my year 9 class and then in year 10 i consistently got 69/80 on the papers which was always so close to a 9, but then in year 11 i got my reality check in year 11 mocks i kinda fell off, in my school there was 9 maths classes set 9(worst) to set 1 (best) based on your ability you get put in one and there is like 2 set 1's because there is so many people good at maths in my year and we had like a super set with me in it like the highest set ,everyone in my maths class used to be really smart and got like 75 /80 + on all the papers, and during the year 11 mocks i really noticed how much i fell off because i got like 52/80 one paper and 71/80 on the other and i was on the grade boundary of an 8 if i got one less mark i would have got a 7 during my year 11 mocks and everyone in my class made funn of me and laughed at me and i took all of that in as motivation and revised hard and used techniques and in the end ,in my GCSE i went in and came out will a score of 235/240 across 3 papers and humbled everyone in my class, use my story to always work hard and never give up and dont let other put you down use them as your motivation to succeed by beating them and always pay attention in lesson and try your best !
