ESAT January

To those applying to imperial and did ESAT today:

Soo how did it go for everyone?

I'll go first: I have no idea how I feel, it all happened so quickly, but I remember guessing A LOT of it :/

Yes, I did those 3. Physics was easy. Maths 1 and Maths 2 had slightly more difficult questions but they were doable. The timing was just criminal.

27 questions in 40 mins is mad. I took at least 30 sec to read the longer questions😭😭

just done mine, physics was really nice but just did not have enough time for the maths, i had to just randomly guess for the last few questions on both

Maths 1 was doable but maths 2 was so incredibly hard. The amount of guessing I did was insane

I did Maths 1 and 2 for design engineering. I’m hoping for around 15-16/27 maths 1 and maybe like 11/27 for maths 2. Roughly what scores do you think these would be?

Same! I applied for des eng as well. I think I roughly got the same. Do you know when we would get news back?

we find out in 6 weeks. Based on the score predictions I gave, for the ENGAA across the years as an average I got around 4.5 in both, how do you think this would correlate with ESAT? Higher/ lower/ similar?

esat questions were quite similar to ENGAA, maths questions were a bit harder imo, so probably similar, maybe a bit higher, also you are against only imperial applicants rather than cambridge applicants, so in my personal opinion the average score will be lower.
