Bath economics application
I applied to Bath economics with Politics in October with 3 predicted A* from a state school. Why do they take so long to give out offers! Anyone know when I should expect to hear from them???

Exactly the same situation with me but I applied for pure economics. I’m from a state school and applied with 3A* in math bio and chem and no response. I think we’ll just have to wait till may

Hey folks,
Yes, I know its an anxious waiting game, waiting on offers from your unis, but please bear with us because we're going as fast as we can! The reason we may take longer than some other unis is because we get a very large volume of applications each year and want to make sure that each one is checked thoroughly and fairly, given the time and attention that it deserves.
Essentially your unis have until the end of April to reply to your applications, so you could hear anytime from now til then.
I would also like to stress that when you get your offer or how long you have to wait has absolutely no relationship with how strong your application is. So if you are still waiting, please don't worry 🙂
I know its frustrating, I know its stressful - we WILL get back to you. Just bear with us!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well 🙂 I applied to Bath for Economics in October and I still haven't heard back from them. A friend of mine who also applied for Econ at Bath got an offer about a month ago. I was predicted A*A*A and am predicted an A in Further Maths AS-Level (A is the highest grade) and I got an A* in EPQ. My teacher's reference was pretty good and I am quite pleased with my personal statement (although I may be a bit biased because it is my own). I am not too sure what is dramatically wrong with my application. I am a bit puzzled as to why I haven't heard back yet, but my friend has. Is anyone here in the same boat? Feels a bit lonely here...

my friend got 3A*'s for those of you wondering, so one grade higher than me, but I have the AS-Level prediction and the EPQ, so i feel like that might balance it out?

Predicted A* A* A in Maths, Econ, Chemistry and achieved A* in EPQ. Thought it was a strong PS but rejected. Hope you get an offer. Was very disappointed.
