Newcastle Partners Offer

I am currently holding an offer at Newcastle University for Linguistics. I was accepted into the Partners Scheme and therefore received the lower contextual offer of BCC.

However, my friend is also a successful Partners applicant, and has applied to the same course (both course code Q100), but has received a contextual offer of BBC.

Can the contextual offers differ between applicants? The offer listed on the webpage is BCC.

Is the offer wrong? And if so, who should be contacted to resolve it?

Hi @twoseve

The PARTNERS entry requirements for our Linguistics BA Honours programme are BCC. If someone was accepted onto the PARTNERS Programme and made an offer for Linguistics, the offer would be BCC. As such, we would advise that your friend get in touch with us directly to look into this.

We wouldn't be able to advise further as to the reason this may be without looking at your friend's application.

Your friend can contact us by calling 0191 208 3333 and pressing option 1, using the Live Chat service on our website, or by using our Enquiries Form.

Hope this helps
