3 A-Levels and 1 BTEC?

Hyd everyone, just wanted to clarify something as I haven’t really seen any posts on this (or maybe I haven’t searched properly 🤷*♂️).

Anyways, I was wondering if it is possible to complete college with a BTEC certificate as well as 3 A-Levels? Or does one have to be dropped by the second year of college?

If it helps, I’ve chosen A-Levels Biology, Chemistry and Religious Studies and BTEC Criminology. I’m just trying to secure a wider range of professions I can go into following college and/or University.

Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

What you're suggesting is entirely feasible.

Assuming that you've found a college which offers all of those qualifications, then the only issue might be timetabling - i.e. are there any clashes between when they're taught.

(Note, by the way, that there is no such thing as "BTEC Criminology". BTEC is a brand owned by Pearson Education - who also own the Edexcel brand. Their list of BTECs can be found here and does not include Criminology. What you're probably talking about is the WJEC Level 3 Certificate in Applied Criminology. A few universities are fussy about accepting this particular qualification. So it makes sense to check any potential target universities now, to check that they're happy with it for the courses you're interested in.)
