Are online courses worth doing?

How should I address them in my personal statement?

Are coursera and futurleaen courses worth paying for.

Cheers.

yes. I couldnt get any work experience so online courses were the next best things and I included it into my personal statement. I started by nameing what I did, the scenario, what happened, what I learned, how that integrated into the university course I want to do.

Many learners flourish during online learning, I did my PGC SENDco and MSc Psychology (conversion) courses 100% online and I had a great time. The first was Leeds Beckett the second was Arden University.

If you are unsure about the quality of an online course, check they have an awarding body, for certain qualifications they might be accredited by a society like the British Psychological Society, if in doubt, you can always check with Ofqual
