Lse Economics Bsc do i have a chance?

Currently studying FM, Maths, Econ and Business on A*A*A*A but with 5.0 on the TMUA do i stand a chance and has anyone got an offer yet?

The only way to find out is to apply.

If you don’t apply then you have no chance.

Also, LSE has requirements when it comes to similar subjects. If you apply and got an offer at standard level, which is A*AA, LSE would most likely ask for an A* in Maths, A in Further Maths and A in economics OR business. As they view taking both Economics and Business as very narrow. Just wanted you to be aware, but shouldn't be an issue especially with your predicted grades.

Your TMUA is great! I think it's equivalent to last year's 6.5! Congratulations! But more on the subject combinations, business is actually on their list of their non-preferred subjects, you should read about their attitude to this here: https://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/Undergraduate/Prospective-Students/How-to-Apply/Admissions-Information

For such a competitive course, I'm sure it does come to a bit of luck too, only the admissions tutors know who they want and who will thrive so best not to think too deeply about it anyway. People with perfect grades, get rejected every year from places like LSE and Oxbridge and still go on to achieve great things! The way I'm trying to think about it is, if not undergraduate, there's always masters and even otherwise it's not the be all and end all.

Best of luck though!

5.0 TMUA is better than most econ applicants tbh. Most people with scores of 6+ are maths/cs applicants so you should be good.
