Hey @Luxuriouss_s!

It's great to hear that you're interested in studying at Man Met!

All the information you'll need about our university-owned student accommodation can be found here. Accommodation bookings for Sep 2025 open from March onwards so the webpages aren't fully up to date yet, but looking now will give you an idea about what we offer and the types of rooms we have.

If you receive an offer to study with us, you'll also get the chance to look at some accommodation at our applicant Visit Days (invites will be sent Feb onwards).

You'll be invited to book accommodation from March onwards once you've selected us as your firm choice on UCAS. You'll be sent a link to the accommodation portal where you'll be able to select your room and pay your deposit.

Our FAQs might answer any other questions you have. But please feel welcome to reply to this with any other questions you have!! 😀

I'm not 100% sure of specifics but I believe the deposit is around £250? And you should be able to pick the block and flat number of each accommodation🙂

It's hard to say which accommodation is best because they all have different things to offer and it's really dependent on what you want!

Chloe 🙂
Hi guys, I put down a deposit on a silver large non-en-suite room at Dwell Manchester Student Village which I no longer require, £183 per week, for the 2025/2026 academic year. It’s a legally binding contract that I can no longer get out of unless I find another tennant to take over. If I can’t I’m liable to pay the whole years rent even if I’m not there. I would be so so so grateful if someone could get in touch with me and take the room.
Thank you,
Amber

Hi @Amberr Mayy, might be worth having a look at Manchester Student Homes or getting in touch with them for some advice. They have an online noticeboard: https://www.manchesterstudenthomes.com/MessageBoard. You can also get in touch with MSH on 0161 275 7680 or at [email protected]. Hope that helps 😊
