MSc Midwifery Pre-registration Application Process

I recently changed my study trajectory from Graduate Medicine to MSc Midwifery/Midwifery Studies Pre-registration.
I'm in my second year of BSc Medical Sciences and was told I am on track for a 2:1 Degree. My biggest concerns are personal statements, experience, and Interviews.

My top choices are Sheffield, Northumbria, Plymouth, Kingston, and Oxford Brookes.

Does anyone know how to write a personal statement for MSc Midwifery? If any previous applicants, are successful and those who aren't have any advice, please share. I'm asking a year in advance because I got my current degree through Clearing because I didn't know the application dates for the courses and I ended up at the Uni a week later with no idea what was going on.

Have a look at the following thread for personal statement advice, particularly the section on vocational personal statements:

There are also some example of midwifery personal statements here:

For your application, unis also want to see that you have shadowing experience (to show that you understand the role) and public-facing work/volunteering experience (to show that you can communicate with the general public). Contact you local NHS trust to ask for a day of shadowing experience (you don't need more than this and requests for longer-term work experience are often turned down). Your public-facing work/vol experience can be in anything, such as bar/cafe work, retail, charity shops, care homes, special needs schools, etc.

For details of application deadlines, read the course pages carefully on uni websites:
