Pharmacy or med ?

Hey.
I have been wondering for a while if i should keep my head on one career path and I ended up with a conclusion that i only have pharmacy or medcine as option. Ofc i would love to be a dentist but i know my studying limites ( its my preferred option but oh well)
My gcses grade are not that amazing and my biggest defect is my 5 in language.
I always thought my self as doctor since i never had tha passion for both ( u know typical immigrant household with family line of doctors). Recently with A-levels i realized i hate chemistry. My highest now is a C ( am in year12) but I have to keep on. Am not sure if thats an important part but that will gives so more info. I am a bio and maths person.
I know most stuff about med but nearly nothing about pharmacy. So if you are a pharmacist can u explain to me what its like in uni . Is it more bio or chem and maths. Is there is specialities and is it actually worth it?

I am not a pharmacy student yet but do know a lot about the profession and and what it is like at uni, there is quite a lot of chemistry involved, this is the main science you will be studying at uni, you can go into specialities after your training year and a few years on the job, I would say if this isn’t your main passion then it might be best to not go for it as it is one of them jobs i personally feel where you have to be able to enjoy to actually do well (but again that is my personal opinion others might not agree)
You can find lots of information online about different specialities, career paths, key topics at uni, so it’s definitely worth looking into if this is something you are possibly considering

I suggest you resit English language this summer to apply for the 2026 entry . If this cost too much then apply through your college which should be 60 pound. Don’t worry I got a 5 one mark off a 6 too it was hard.
