Anyone got invited to the Cambridge PhD interview?

Hi, I submitted my Cambridge PhD in Engineering appllication in last november, it has been 6~8 weeks passed, and I haven't heard anything from the department and other applicants. I'm wondering if anyone got invited to interview by far for 2025 round? Last year my applciation got sinked in the pool for more than 3 months and I still got no idea if I should be worried about not getting an interview or is that way too soon to be panicked right now? What's the case for funded opportunities, when do they sending interview invitations typically? Any input, this round and previous rounds, would be appreciated.

Cambridge is usually very slow about funding - I wouldn't stress yet (I think pretty much all the people I know haven't heard back yet).

I saw 1 or 2 people got interview call on this platform in past two days, one MLMI one ACS, don’t know if they’re sending invitations by batch or by each candidates.

For a lot of funding sources (e.g. Gates if you're eligible), the department needs to shortlist people first, so that will affect how fast things go, but looking at when random people get theirs on here when it hasn't been too long since funding application deadlines probably isn't the best way to go.

I just got my acceptance today. It mostly depends on your supervisor, but you should hear by the end of the month.

Were you interviewed before acceptance? Who mainly was your interviewer?
