UCAS Medicine Application, Part time VS Volunteering

Hi

I'm a 2nd year Biomedicine student and curiosity what what is required of me in terms of work experience for medicine.

I have done 1 week of work experience in a carehome, aiding and working with patients with dementia.

I want to do part-time and use that experience in my application ( however, the part-time I am considering applying for is not healthcare related, its build a bear. I wanted to do H&B but they don't have any in store positions available). Can I do that? I feel I could say something like one of the first things that come to mind, is communication with the public like how the job involves interacting with customers of all ages, including children and their parents and this can help develop your communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential for doctors. Maybe how you learned to explain things clearly and patiently, how you adapted your communication style to different audiences.
Or is it better to do Volunteering on Saturdays? (I have home commitments and university commitment so I am unable to do weekdays) I live in London, so if this is a better option then could you recommend any Volunteering? ( I 've search some but I'm still considering which to choose, any is fine). I'm on the fence on what to do, can I have some advice please
[I can email someone about this but I'm a bit embarrassed to ask, they said I'm assuming that you mean the UCAS application rather than the UCAT Admissions Test- the work experience required for the Undergraduate application is normally a week in Primary Healthcare and then a week in Secondary Healthcare that's what the Universities are interested in so Volunteering, shadowing a GP etc is what you need to be looking for."But I am able to try and do much more than a week, only on Saturdays once a week because I have responsibility at home]
Anyways, thank you for taking the time to read this I hope you had a good new year
