Hi, I replied just a day before Unis broke up for Christmas holidays and got 3 offers from other Unis but haven’t heard back from Exeter or York yet, does anyone know how long it takes for them to reply :/

The situation at Exeter will likely be similar to that described in the response from the University of York above. It may take a little while as our admissions team return from the Christmas break and they also process a large number of applications around the January UCAS deadline. The time taken to reply is not reflective of the quality of your application or likelihood of being made an offer, so try not to worry too much.

There might be a bit more of a delay in getting a response because of the holidays, but our admissions team are back up and running so hopefully you'll hear back soon! Response times may vary between departments, so I don't think I can give you an estimate - but drop us a message again if you don't hear back soon and I will investigate for you 🙂

Ive heard from them both. York said they take around 6 weeks to look at applications but i only waited about 4. Hope you hear back soon!

Update for this, I received an offer from York! so it basically took me around 2 weeks 🙂
