Loughborough say on this page that their typical IB offer is 37 (6,6,6 HL). Is that the information which you were looking for?

Also, according to this page on the UCAS site, in recent years they've made offers to 17 in every 20 students who applied for Economics BSc (Hons). So if you're predicted 40, it seems that you stand a decent chance of an offer.

Loughborough is a great option, especially if it doesn’t require HL Maths, and your predicted 40 points in the IB diploma puts you in a strong position for many universities.

If you’re exploring other options, SOAS University of London could be worth considering. I'm currently in my final year studying Economics and Arabic there and I've really benefitted from the course!

Their Economics BSc focuses on global economic challenges, with an emphasis on emerging markets and development—perfect if you’re interested in international perspectives. The course is highly regarded, and one of SOAS's economists was recently listed as one of the world's top thinkers by Prospect Magazine: https://www.soas.ac.uk/about/news/soas-economist-listed-one-worlds-top-thinkers-prospect-magazine

If you want more details, you can reach out to their admissions team directly at [email protected].
Best of luck with your applications!
