My Chemistry Teacher hates me

idek why she hates me or what I did to her

Lately bcs of the weather I haven't been able to make it to sixth form, so I missed just one day and sent my teacher a polite message saying 'Hi XYZ I don’t think I’ll be able to come to chemistry today as the roads full of snow and I live far away on a hill so none of the buses are working either'

Then my teacher gave a sarcastic snarky reply, saying that she's searched up my address online and it shows that the buses are working, but I waited that day for an 1hr + for the bus and it never came. So I told her then there must have been a delay bcs it never came, and she started having a go at me over teams saying I'm an adult, take responsilbility and that she'll 'pull data up'. I usually get a lift to sixth form but couldn't bcs of how icy the roads were

Are teacher's even allowed to be like that? searching up students addressing then accusing them of lying

Then the next day, I got 6/10 on a starter. She goes that I'll probably get a B on the exam at this rate, so I asked her what grade I got on my latest mock (we did in march) then she goes she's not gonna tell me in an annoyed voice??? (turns out I got an A)

After the teacher accused of my lying I couldn't be bothered replying to her on teams so I left her on read, but I hate how smug she's acting now. She think she's done something when she's just doing too much

proper weird behaviour, some people never grow up and stay immature and snarky regardless of what profession they do. Not sure what year you're in but at least you'll only have a maximum of 1.5 years to deal with her

You are right, it is unfair and unprofessional, but remember that teachers are people too and you or I don't know what is going on in her life/ what issues she might be having at home etc.
Its easy for me to say this, and much harder to do, but I suggest trying to start each lesson by assuming good intent on her part, and getting on with things as best you can (maybe you can think of it in terms of that you will have to be the adult in the relationship!) It's going to be your grade in the end, not hers, so you will need to make the best of it. Good luck!

Yes that’s true I’ll try your advice, during this conversation the more I tried texting my teacher the more annoyed she seemed. I spoke to other students and it turns out she’s like this to others as well.

She told my friend whose UCAT was 2900 that the only reason she got medicine interviews was because she’s a contextual applicant then proceeded to complain how unfair schemes for contextual applicants are for non-contextual ppl, I honestly think her behaviour isn’t appropriate and is going too far so I ended up telling my form tutor abt her
