University applicantion

So basically I’m a private candidate and always have been starting from my gcse. I passed my gcse English language but I didn’t take any other gcse exams since I was a private candidate . I now take A levels (politics, law , and sociology) I’ve had a tutor for quite a while now and I’ve been predicted 3A’s I’ve now applied for my university choices (Kingston,Middlesex, city, soas and Brunel)for law what are my genuine chances of getting in since I’ve already applied for these universities on UCAS or should I go through clearing with Birmingham city university which states they do not require evidence of GCSEs .
Very difficult to answer as it depends whether any of your choices require GCSE Maths, (could be a uni wide requirement rather than a course specific thing).

Hi @Hhdfghjkk

Fab to hear that you have applied for Kingston!

The entry requirements are 120-136 UCAS tariff points and with 3 A's you would have 144.

If you are concerned or worried you could always contact Kingston, here are some useful contact links:
Admissions enquire - https://www.kingston.ac.uk/enquire/undergraduate-ksa/
Admissions Contact - https://www.kingston.ac.uk/contact-us/#blockid22719

I hope this is useful and will hopefully put your mind at ease. If you have any questions about Kingston feel free to ask

Hi there,

Congratulations on sending in your application!

Your best port of call is to speak directly with the admissions teams to contextualise your application. You can email the SOAS Undergraduate Admissions Team via [email protected]. Please include your UCAS ID number in your email and the details of your query.

If you have any queries, you can also message students and staff on Unibuddies for a quicker turnaround in response times.

I hope this helps 🙂
