It's a good game. The early game may seem hard but later on you can get really OP if you use magic and potions right.
There's also a good community of modders making a world expansion called Tamriel Rebuilt which is really nice visually and also has quests and they just released Project Cyrodiil https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ys09ASlNy4U

I'm slowly getting through this game. Got to level 3.
I just got to rest and run, repeat etc and get higher level. I did fail a quest to escort the lady to the Shrine due to the cliff racers who are tricky to hit but I can sure get more quests done
