I got this back today.

We are excited to inform you that you have successfully passed the HEO/SEO questionnaire as part of your Techtrack apprenticeship application.

You have now progressed to the next stage of the process: a video interview. During this conversation, we will assess your motivation, commitment, and skills in relation to the role. The call is designed to give you an opportunity to showcase your strengths and qualifications further.

Are any of you already in civil service or are you from different sector? I’m not sure what the process is of actually being recruited after the interview stage. Do we wait for the next cohort start date or when a vacancy becomes available?

I am still waiting to hear from the HEO/SEO questionnaire.

I got an email to say I've got an interview but could take up to 12 weeks. I'm employed by the civil service currently. Anything to do with the civil service is very long and drawn out. As for what happens after the interview I've seen a few different answers, next step for me is an interview with BPP, if they decide to recommend you for the apprenticeship, you go into a cohort of 25-30. The big question then is how do you find an employer, do you apply on the CS website, or do you just get allocated a job within a reasonable geographical area to where you live. If I would guess most jobs will be in London for Southerners and Manchester/Sheffield for Northerners

I also got into the interview stage. I’m not in civil service so this is quite new to me. I wish there was more information on previous applicants. We’ll just see how it goes and hopefully there will be more clearer guidance after the interview, I’ll keep posted if I get through 😂

Lack of information is a bit frustrating, not even an account to attempt to monitor progress 😂 I've seen a thing on Reddit about this apprenticeship and people are starting to get interviews (apparently) so I guess they are interviewing a lot of people

I have read conflicting information in regards to the interview with BPP, the most logical would be what your understanding is of the role you are going into, commitment to finishing the apprenticeship, career goals and aspirations, why you think you suit this opportunity, qualifications and work experience, fairly generic interview questions. There is a possibility that we may get asked some technical questions, I think this is unlikely but if you are not from a BA background it wouldn't hurt to familiarise yourself with some systems and functions of a BA.

I don’t want to spread misinformation but from a thread I read on Reddit people who’ve passed the interview mentioned after getting selected , you don’t get the apprenticeship / start training straight away . You will be put into a talent pool where you’d be given an exclusive log in details only accessible to the successful candidates or and put reserved list for 12 months . Then you’ll have to apply via the talent pool when the apprenticeship opportunity comes up from the civil service departments ( this is when you’d have your 2nd final interview with the civil service department) before you actually start . Apart from the reserved list that’s the only certain thing I can confirm because it was actually stated in the job description. I was under the impression that after passing all stages successfully you’d be given a secured apprenticeship role but apparently you don’t until “spaces open” up then apply and then the civil service department selects from the 25 successful applicants. So if there’s none available you’ll basically be waiting until some are.

I’ve got the content from what I see after the succession of the interviews your put into a shortlist where the designated areas pick you out from and choose to interview you after that if your successful you’ll be working as a business analyst within the chosen department

Most people on Reddit have made it through to a matched department for their final interview. Which was much quicker than the makers tech track were people haven’t had their final interview and 6 months in with no match

Hi Guys,
Same here, confirmation email said it will take about 12 weeks, what sort of prep to take? As i have zero knowledge about business model and there usability. Do they expect some sort of experience from us using those software/ Model?
