durham Mphys offers

I’ve applied for the Mphys Physics and Astronomy and haven’t heard anything from Durham. I’ve had offers from all my other choices though.
Durham are late in giving out offers for physics and not everyone would have sent in their application yet so don’t worry. There is still time 😊

It really does, but the entry requirements are so high. It’s definitely my aspirational choice. Fingers crossed I get an offer and then the grades as I really loved Durham on the Open day.

Hi, just wondering whether anyone has heard from Durham for any of the physics courses yet?

Sorry- have no idea how they stagger their offers

Also waiting. From offer spreadsheets I have seen previously, they seem to work through them after the UCAS deadline (first prioritising international and contextual).
Ordinarily I'd say meeting entry requirements with a strong application is enough - however now Durham is just so popular for physics I think the story is very different. I am worried they won't be able to offer to everyone who clearly meets the criteria.

I fear mine will be a rejection as I don’t have a full set of 8/9’s at GCSE ( those pesky art subjects) even though I have great A level predictions

Good luck. Similar here - mostly 8s and 9s but also 7s and 2x6s but right grades for the important ones too. 3A* predictions in the right Alevels - but I expect not doing 4 may be an issue.

Thank you. You too. I don’t think having 4 A levels will put you at a disadvantage. They offer for 3. My GCSE’s feel similar to yours - 7x9, 2x8 and 3x6. 9’s in the subjects that matter most 🤣
