Make sure to do past papers and definitely do them under timed conditions. While doing this take note on what you spend the most time on and focus on specifically that type of question. If this doesn't work, during the exam you could begin with what you struggle with (e.g. the 8 marker)/ what gains the most marks, then do the shorter questions later to make sure you're not spending too much time on them.
