How did everyone find Part A?

Me and my friend found it easy but some other people I spoke to found it difficult

Really easy. Except from report calculation and structure and testing for managerID and RoomID. Mine didn’t work so I left it blank. My evaluation was a bit weak

Alright but except from the report it was good

That exam was alright, but that report was shambolic, I didn't know how to show the "Occupant" warning they asked. Did anyone know how to do the "Occupant" warning part?

I just had an if statement about if the party size was less than the 75% value then "Unoccupied" text otherwise " ". It seemed to work and only appeared on i think the last 2 parties on the report...

On the structure testing however I wasn't too sure on the type of test. Hopefully a minor thing.

I wrote that as well but it posted occupant for all of them does any one know how many marks i lost bescause of that also can someone tell me if it was fine to put the Room ID in the customers table as i did that and the queries worked.

I had Room ID originally on the Client's table, however on Activity 4 it stated that a party table submission shouldn't go through if the Room ID didn't match. So because of that I removed the RoomID from the clients table and changed the relationships which led to me having to redo all my queries. If the queries work, you shouldn't really lose any significant marks for it.

With reports I think the mark scheme is separated into different traits like functionality, looks etc. So you should still get marks even if the functionality isn't 100%. Did you manage to do the total number of parties at the bottom?

it was good until it wasnt. Did activity 1,2 and 3 well until i got stuck on the report, which i stupidly ended up spending so much time on i didnt do activity 4 or 5, and because i rushed so badly i forgot to include my database into the folder. I'll probably be doing a retake

My word document didnt have type of test on structure testing. (Like X,R, N) so i didnt include that

same thing here like i was inputting the data and it just didn’t work and kept giving me an error. might have to drop the course because i fully just don’t understand databases at all. however i got distinctions in two other units.

Yes - you had to use an =IIF formula.
