i really wanna get a summer job

im in y11 rn and im interested in getting a summer job at a bubble tea shop but i have zero idea about how to go about this. is it too early too start thinking about these things? idk whether i have to make a formal application online or whether i can just go in and ask. if anyone's been in my situation before could u give me some advice? x

Make a cv and don’t forget to write a cover letter if you apply somewhere (just use ChatGPT), and if u can go to stores you want to work at in person as ask (have your cv on you and offer to give your contact like email and number)

is it just specifically one shop that you're looking into. worth checking if they have a website that may have a career page to apply to. if you can't find any advertisement on indeed or any other job site then either email or go in person with a cv and cover letter explaining what you're looking for and why you want to work there. it might be more difficult only applying to one place as i know the job market is competitive and from my experience i filled in 100s of applications and emails to get my first job so just a forewarning that obviously it's not guaranteed.

i suppose it means that you can concentrate your cv and cover letter around this then but yea get on some job sites like indeed to see if there's any jobs advertised and if not look about either emailing in your cv or handing it in person to these shops. good luck with the job search
