sixth form options help!

i want to study medicine later on- i am currently in Year 11
so i have decided to pick the following a- levels:
maths
chemistry
biology

I am not sure though, whether i should pick EPQ (extended project qualification) or BTEC Medical science (extended certificate) alongside my other A-levels.
Which one do you think would be better?

I would appreciate it if someone helped me with this! Thank you

* btw, i want to do 4 A-levels

A huge thank you to everyone who has taken their time to answer me

Neither would count more than the other, just matters what grades you get, so pick the one you think you will do best in.
As for picking 4 a-levels, if you mean these 3 and one of the other two, that's fine, but if you mean a whole extra a-level, there really wouldn't be any point.
Best of luck with whatever you choose.

Thank you so much for your advice!!
To answer you in terms of my A-level choices, I am planning on picking the three A-levels I have mentioned and then another subject which is worth half an a-level (not a full a-level)

Thank you so much again!!

EPQ would be more desirable for universities in the UK and USA. 🙂

definitely do epq especially for medicine and i would also recommend avoidingf btecs if you aspire to go to top unis

I will absolutely take your advice!
I am aiming for top universities and I was aware that BTECs wouldn't be preferable for medicine, yet I still wasn't sure.
Thanks to you I am certain now ^^

Thank you again!!
