UC and PhD Stipend

I have been offered a PhD with stipend from the university. I am currently receiving UC and would still do so due to dependents.

It is really unclear how the stipend would affect my UC. One source says only 30% is considered which I don't think is the case. Another says yes in full. Another says if you can apply for doctoral loan then the stipend is disregarded and only 30% of the loan is considered.

Anyone doing a PhD and receiving UC? Or if anyone has knowledge on the matter I would appreciate some help.

I also asked UC who were really unclear and not bothered to check.They kept it vague and said it would affect UC.
