🎓 UCAS deadline reminder 🎓

Hey everyone! We wanted to make sure you're all aware of the upcoming UCAS deadline for 2025 undergraduate applications.

📅 The main deadline is Wednesday, 29 January 2025 at 18:00 (UK time). This is super important because it's what UCAS calls the "equal consideration deadline" - basically, all applications submitted before this deadline will be treated equally by universities.

⚠️ Quick heads up: Some courses (like medicine, dentistry, and Oxford/Cambridge) had an earlier deadline of 15 October, so make sure to check your specific course requirements!

What happens if you miss the deadline? While universities can still consider late applications if they have spaces available, there's no guarantee they will. To give yourself the best chance, aim to submit before the deadline!

🔍 Not sure about your course deadline? You can check using the UCAS course search tool.

Feel free to drop any questions below - we're here to help! 😊

And if using TSR's Personal Statement review service, you have until Wednesday this week to submit to us if you want to receive a review. We are very busy, cannot review anything if posted after Wednesday.

Most applicants will have zero control over when their centre submits their application.

It’s not helpful to put pressure on applicants over something they can’t control. Especially if your university rarely closes more than 1 or 2 courses after the deadline.

Yet more DMU self-promo posting - as always, desperate for applicants because they can't fill their courses and all applicants should therefore be thinking exactly why that is.
