stuck between EEE and BME

i am confused on what engineering specialism to choose - Electrical and electronic engineering, and biomedical engineering
I am interested in inventing new medical technology.
But in general, which one has a higher demand and higher pay and better job prospects?

I am not an engineer, just a student who is also torn between but between MechE or EE.

I see EE as the "brains" or life behind anyhting that moves, with more focus on what can't be seen and touched, whereas I see BME as a very specialised Mechanical (as MechE is broad enoguh to work in BME, Aero, Automotive but not be too specialised - jack of all, master of none), focusing on macro objects that work mechanically in the medical setting I suppose.

From what I've seen online, BME's job can be done by a MechE, but the same doesn't go for EE, so think about that. One thing I will say though is that EE and BME as a degree are very different , there appears to be no biology in an EE degree itself, so you'd likely specialise later on as opposed to having that immediate medical background like in BME.

BME is more biology-focused and often requires an advanced degree, while EE is closer to device design and may offer better job prospects345. , while EE is closer to device design and may offer better job prospects345. - Quick google search, source is Reddit.

Hope this helps.

Electrical and electronics, and by quite a large margin.
