Hey there 😁

The best thing you can do now is reflect on which aspects of the university experience are most important to you. This is your unique journey, and it’s essential to consider not just academic expertise, but also other significant factors that matter to you. Research universities with these priorities in mind.

Attending Open Days can be especially helpful, as they provide a clearer picture of what each university offers and help you determine which one feels like the right fit for you.

I hope it will be helpful 💪 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 😉 You can also chat with me or other students directly through The Ambassador Platform.

Take care,

Well done! regards to ur question it depends on which career path u want to take. Id suggest go to Glasgow or Edinburgh as they have a great reputation for finance, if u want to go into the banking industry e.g. Investment banking id recommend Edinburgh as it is a top semi-target, meaning its under Oxbridge and LSE. Also if u want to go into the accounting side, both Unis are interchangeable. Also what r u hoping to do after ur degree?

uni dosent really matter if u want to become a CA, whereas if u want to discover finance it does play apart so which id recommend glasgow or edinburgh. Strathclyde is great but isnt prestige enough. Also with the CA qualification u can adapt to other areas in finance.

In terms of academic rankings, career prospects and employability, the two schools are comparable, and applying to either university is the best choice.
