Making friends whilst being home-schooled
I’m currently doing my alevels and I’ve been home schooled for about 6 years now. Did my GCSE’s and everything at home.
Something I’ve noticed is all the friends I had from school have kinda just drifted apart, so I’m just kinda lost on how to make new friends that are near me and not just online. Wondering if anyone else struggles with this too?

hi! with making friends i mainly did it online, i wasn't homeschooled but was quite isolated from people in my environment and looking online went really well for me, met all of them in person at some point and even got a bf, but i understand thats not for everyone and long distance friendships can be hell, when it comes to meeting people in person consider joining some clubs/classes the main thing when it comes to making new friends is seeing them regularly, so join some clubs etc based on ur interests and that might give u a chance to meet some people with shared interests and make new friends, good luck!

Any advice on where to find friends online? Already have a few online friends that I’ve met up with but haven’t found anyone new.
I feel like I’ve tried all the clubs near me and none have anyone similar in age etc.
Join home ed groups on Facebook for your area and put a post up asking if there's any local meet ups for your area.
