IAL Further Maths

I am doing the following modules in maths:
- Pure 1
- Pure 2
- Pure 3
- Pure 4
- Mechanics 1
- Mechanics 2

I also have the chance to do s1.

What modules can I pick for FM? Should I do s1? And if I do s1, should I do it as part of maths or further maths?

You're kinda forced to do S1 as you have to do 6 modules for Further and even if you take M3, D1, FP1, FP2 and FP3, the only thing left are statistic modules. Whether or not you're doing s1 or m1 for further maths depends upon which you're better at or what you want tbh. Like for me, I'm better at pure maths than further pure maths, so I'll probably pair whichever I get a higher score on with further pure maths. Totally up to you tho

Now that I think of it, you're totally right. I don't know how I never noticed this.
As for what I'm better at, it's definitely Mechanics.
Would you suggest that I pair up the paper I do best in with Further Maths or Maths?

FPM consists of the following mandatory units: FP1 and either FP2 or FP3, along with the optional units: M1, M2, M3, S1, S2, S3 and D1. You would require a total of 12 units for IAS and IAL maths (both pure and further). Now the choice is yours.
