opening student back account, masters student - no ucas code?

I'm doing a postgraduate degree, and want to open a student account, however I have no ucas code, as i am doing a masters degree.
why do banks require a ucas code when there are no ucas codes for masters degrees?
anyone have any advice on what i can do?

Look at the terms and conditions of the account. Some aren’t available for postgraduate students. If they are then it should explain how to open it without a UCAS code using a letter from your university.

Some bank accounts require confirmation from the University that you are studying. Contact your University to ask for guidance regarding opening an account. - JD

That's usually the case for the online application.
If you aren't applying through UCAS they'll want to verify your student status using documentation from the university which can't be done online.
If you ask your university for a bank confirmation letter and then go into a branch then they'll be able to set up your account.

Alternatively set up a standard current account online and then go into the branch with your proof of study letter to get your account converted into a student account.
