University Grades

I’m predicted A*A*B. In computer science, maths and physics. I was wondering if a University that has requirements of AAA would consider my application and whether it’s worth applying to any of them.

Yeah they would

I applied with predicted BBC for some courses that are BBB and got offers

Just remember that any course asking for AAA is competitive - especially for CS.
Yes, you might get an offer but its still risky.

Yes - because BBB courses/Unis are not that competitive so those Unis are more likely to make you an offer if you are below the entry requirements.
Hello there!

Yes, universities with AAA requirements often consider applicants predicted AAB, especially if your A* grades are in key subjects like Computer Science or Maths. A strong personal statement, highlighting your passion, relevant projects, and skills, along with a solid teacher reference, can significantly boost your chances.

Many universities also offer contextual offers, lowering grade requirements for eligible students. It’s worth applying to a mix of aspirational, realistic, and safety choices.

Research university policies and consider reaching out to admissions teams for clarity.
With A* in relevant subjects and a strong application, you’re a competitive candidate.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!

The best advice is to simply PHONE that Uni today and ask them.
You have a strong Maths grade, so its possible, but its worth phoning to check.
