Is Loughborough University diverse in gender?

Hi everyone, ive recieved an offer from Lougborough and i’m heavily considering making it my firm over my other offers however one of my concerns is the ratio of gender. Ive heard the ratio of boys to girls is 70:30 which is quite drastic and is something im worried about as its my worst nightmare being in a flat with just boys and this ratio makes the chance alot higher 😭😭😭 ive heard that this year loughboroughs aiming for a 50:50 split of gender but unsure if this is true??? just wonder thanks guyss

The data for accepted applicants for University of Loughborough shows that it's more like 60:40, and hasn't really changed much over the years.

Note that the Y axis is misleading as it doesn't extend down to zero. They're not going to be able to get from 60:40 to to 50:50 (if that is indeed their aim) in a single academic year. But is 60:40 really so bad?

"On the ground" it is 60/40. Obviously it also depends on your course as well - some will have more males and some will have females
heyy i'm thinking about firming too and i'm a girl! i went to an offer holder day last week and i'd say the gender ratio was pretty 50/50, I saw more girls (it was an offer day for english, history, politics + ir so more girls take those maybe?) but walking around campus it looked fine nothing too crazy such as 70:30
