Student to be at NTU

I’ve applied and sent of my ucas and Nottingham Trent is my top choice for me. I chose computing for my course and I would just like to know how the campuses accommodations and lessons are like. Also how is life like at the university and Nottingham itself.

I'll be starting in September doing psychology with Counselling. The campus is up to date and 5 min walk from the city centre with a tram stop essentially outside. The accommodation i saw was okay, about standard with other university accommodation tho the central location of the city campus accommodation does mean you will be in the city centre. It seems reasonably priced for what you get and booking for it seems to open at the start of February for 2025 intake. I can't speak to your lessons as all the information i got related to Psychology. Nottingham itself is very vibrant particularly you're interested in clubbing and music. It also has a huge gaming industry if numerous board game cafes. Also the cat cafe.

Hi,
It's great to hear you're thinking about joining us at NTU!

If you've not done so already, I'd recommend visiting on one of our upcoming open days if you get the chance. These can be a great opportunity to tour our campus, accommodation, and hear from staff and students what your experience of the course will be. We also hold a number of taster sessions at these events too if you want to get a hands on look at our Computing course!

We also have our main accommodation page here, where you can review all of our options and see student reviews as well as virtual tours. For computing you'll be looking mainly at our Clifton Campus options. You can also chat online with some of our current students and get their experience of being a part of NTU.

I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions!
