Economic consulting advice

Hi, I'm a recent grad looking to get into econ consulting. Unlike management or strategy consulting, there's not a lot of advice about the application process or interview process for economic consulting online. Does anyone have any tips for doing well in the application process, general insights into what it entails? Also do anyone know where to look for econometrics knowledge that you may need to know for the interview? (Ps. im currently looking at firms like BRG, NERA, CRA, RBB if that helps with advice)
