Student accommodation 2025/26 - Aberdeen

I am currently looking around for student accommodation for the first semester of the coming 2025/26 academic year. However, most of the places in Aberdeen only offer rooms/apartments for the full year. Does anyone on here know of any places which would potentially offer accommodation for just one semester? Or, alternatively, is anyone looking for accommodation in Aberdeen for the second half of the coming academic year that would be interested in taking any place over from me when I leave in December this year?

Any general advice is also welcome.

Cheers.

Hello there
Robert Gordon University offers 5 months lease accommodation to students of which it is 1 semester. You can apply for Woomanhill accommodation.
Hi there

Robert Gordon has about 3 student accommodation lodge for their students and these accommodations are very easy to access and apply . However, not all RGU accommodation are cheap but I can promise that not a single one of it is bad or terrible .
Firstly , Woomanhill is RGU cheapest, popular and flexible accommodation for student and you get to apply based on your preference

Woomanhill has options available for single bed, doubled bed and En-suite . Each offers has different payment . One thing about Woomanhill is that cleaners comes to clean the shared kitchen and toilet once or twice a week so you toilet would always be clean and you won’t have to worry about cleaning . The kitchen is usually very big and condusive for cooking
You can apply for any of these accommodations on Robert Gordon Accomodation website

Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Our student accommodation only really offers full year contracts (I believe there are a couple of options but at least 30-something weeks is the minimum) unless you're studying abroad in Aberdeen for a semester. If this is the case we're able to offer shorter contracts, and I can direct you to get in contact with our accommodation team if that's the case for you!
Alternatively, as the above poster mentions, RGU's accommodation offers shorter contracts. It may also be worth getting in touch with other student accommodation providers in Aberdeen, such as Student Roost or Unite Students, to see what contracts they may have available.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions about our accommodation!
