Wax melt at uni?

I’m aware you aren’t allowed candles or flames but would an electric wax warmer be allowed? I can’t live without candles😭
You would need to contact your accommodation provider and ask, and even it is permitted it would be subject to portable appliance testing.

That said I can't see any conceivable way in which it would be permitted. Anything that gets hot by design is unlikely to be allowed due to being a fire risk, not only for you but everyone else in the building.

NO candles - far too dangerous and usually set off the smoke detectors.
And most Unis will have strict rules about what you can't bring, usually for very obvious safety reasons.
Examples - NO

Candles, incense sticks or burners.

Cooking appliances e.g. rice cookers, fridges, sandwich toasters, Air fryers, coffee makers

Electric or gas heaters of any sort

E-scooters, surfboards, amplifiers

Anything that may cause harm to yourself or others, including any form of weapon, chemicals, or fireworks

Pets (including small caged animals and fish)

etc etc
