Plymouth Midwifery Interview

Hi,
So I applied to Uni in late November and I have heard back from 4 out of my 5 options. I haven't heard anything back from Plymouth yet - and I know there are lots of interviews going on at the moment so I'm not sure why I haven't heard anything yet about if I have an interview or not.
The only thing I can think is that Plymouth is my only 'live at home' choice so maybe they interview people moving away first?

Not sure if I'm just overthinking, I've been trying to be patient but I'm just getting a bit worried!

They’ll get in touch if they want to interview you. If they don’t they may still straight up give you an offer. If you don’t get an email for either of those things by May 14th (or around then) I wouldn’t start to get worried. Since you applied late you will be at the bottom of the pile so you’ll be one of the last to be looked at.

Ah okay, I didn't think I applied that late though as it was in November and I've seen people who are getting interviews/already had interviews on a Facebook group who applied at a similar time.

November isn't considered late for applications. Have you received any acknowledgement from Plymouth confirming they've received your application? It might be worth an email if you haven't.

I think so. I don't think I ever received an email like just saying that they had received my application but I got sent an email with my applicant portal details on it - the applicant portal doesn't really have much on it though.

I would email but I don't want to come across as being rude or impatient or anything but I've had 4/5 responses and most of them came quite early so I was worried something might be wrong. I know it differs depending on the University but I'm quite an anxious person and I can't stop worrying that something might have gone wrong lol

It won't come across as rude. If you know for certain that other applicants have already received interviews/offers who applied at a similar time, an email asking when you should expect to hear something is fine.

Thanks for your help, I spoke to my head of sixth form today and she said to just send them an email since I’m worrying about it so I did about 2 hours ago, hopefully will hear something back soon.

I applied to Plymouth mid November and have a place. I’m also local (Torbay) and Plymouth was the only place I applied to.

Have you got access to the Plymouth portal because everything comes through there. Any message they send shows in the notifications tab rather than on the main screen. If not give them a call, I’ve spoken to the admissions team with a query I had back in December before my interview and they were lovely and got the answer really quickly.

I hope you hear something soon 😊
