NHS Masters social work bursary yr 2 HELP

So I am in my second year of my masters degree, I received the NHS social work bursary for my first year. However, I could not proceed onto second year of my masters because my first year placement was deferred and I had to redo my first year placement and pass before I could proceed.

But I ensured to ask what would happen about the bursary and whether I would still be in receipt of it when I did go to my second year. From the start I was told I would be eligible for the full bursary, but now I am in my second year and I have applied for the bursary I am only eligible for the PTA. I have spoken to my university course and they are currently in the process of looking into this for me and I hope it gets sorted out so I do receive it.

But I was just wondering if anyone has any other ways I could fund my final year incase I am not eligible for it (£6500 since my first year has been paid for). I applied for the SFE but I was rejected as I was eligible for the bursary so could I reapply for this for my second year or are there other ways. Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Hi there. Sorry, we can only advise on SFE Products and guidance on this forum page. If you are looking for alternative ways of funding we can only advise speaking to the University about this. Thanks, David
