PRIMARY ED Literature review dissertation

I will soon start my Primary Education dissertation. I have chosen to do a literature review on the role of parents in children's education and development.
I was wondering if anyone has any tips/advice which can help with the dissertation, whether it's how to organise the reading effectively, how to structure it ect.
