The best way to do this is approach it from the perspective that you are already at University. Read around the subject, find references and then produce the assignment.

Every piece of work, cover the areas it lists in the brief; everything you write should be referenced properly and each assignment should have a list of references, a bibliography and appendices as appropriate.

Accept no shortcuts: produce the work as if you're handing it into your chosen University. You might as well get good at this now because you'll be doing essays and similar at Uni for three whole years.

If you need any advice feel free to ask.

Erasistratus, I'm curious if you have done an Access to HE diploma? I've just started working on the graded units on mine and am looking for tips to give myself the best chance of achieving distinctions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I completed one in 2024 with all distinctions. If you have anything you need answered - you can ask away!
