I'm looking to study psychology at UEA this September and I was wondering what modules are covered during first year as it doesn't specify on the website.
You could contact them and ask 🙂

I'm looking to study psychology at UEA this September and I was wondering what modules are covered during first year as it doesn't specify on the website.

If you visit the UEA page for Psychology here and scroll to the "Study and Modules" section, you'll be able to see a break-down of the modules for each of Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. What I suspect is confusing you is that Year 1 is comprised of a single module, worth 120 credits. This module, called Introduction to Psychology (PSY-4010Y), is described thus:

"The overall aim of the module is to provide you with an introduction to psychological theory and research, with a focus on how this knowledge is used and applied within the ‘real world’. Lectures and seminars will be organised into five key themes - constructing psychology, explaining behaviour, questioning reality, understanding yourself and applying psychology to the real world. Each theme will be team-taught across a few weeks, with a selection of lectures from a range of perspectives in psychological science. Adopting this integrative approach, you will be able to see how each curriculum area within psychology contributes to our knowledge and understanding of human behaviour. In addition, the module will introduce you to quantitative research methods and statistics and qualitative techniques and analysis - both of which are utilised when conducting psychological research"

You can get a break-down of what will be taught week-by-week within this module here (just scroll past initial the reading list). It shows that in Week 1 (which they call "Introduction to the module, theme 1 (Constructing Psychology), and psychology itself"), the following six sessions will be taught within the single module:
Week 1: Sessions 1&2: Welcome to the module/theme 1
Week 1: Session 3: Intro to Psychology: History and perspectives
Week 1: Session 4: Intro to Psychology: Concepts & Purpose
Week 1: Sessions 5 & 6: Learning

You can then scroll further down to see the general "theme" of each week, plus details of each individual session within each week. There's actually an awful lot of information there - far more than you would expect to see on the public-facing web site of other universities.
ik but I thought it may have been quicker on here
